This is all water…under the same bridge to nowhere about the Benghazi tragedy. Republicans, and anyone else that believes this nonsense, just can’t accept the fact that there were MISTAKES made at the very beginning of this investigation. The same idiots that inherently equate most Muslims with terrorism refuse to believe that a video, mocking Muslims, could lead to violence. Give me a break! Video vs.”Act of terror”=PEOPLE DIED!
I guess the anniversary date of the worst intelligence failure in our nations history meant nothing. Republican’s voted to cut funding for security at our overseas interests and despite being warned about possible terrorist attacks, some of those that were killed CHOSE to stay with LESS protection from extremists. Let these tea-loving turds tell it-There was NO protection given. Troops ordered to “stand back” etc. If the president was so intent on creating a cover-up, why would he call it an “act of terror” the very next day, the day after that, and a week later? Would that not be admitting an intelligence failure right before the most critical juncture of his re-election campaign?
Bottom line=mistakes and misinformation clouded this tragedy from the beginning. Susan Rice read from talking points that derived from the best CIA based intelligence that was present at the time. Despite right-wing obsession with this email, Benghazi was only a small part of the information provided-Republicans want to conveniently omit mentions of NUMEROUS uprisings throughout the Middle East as a result of the offensive video.
It’s amazing that supposedly intelligent people continue to use their extremely explainable hatred of President Obama to politicize this tragedy. Mitt Romney started all of this right-wing paranoia when he prematurely placed his political stupidity in front of the nation, and the world, with his idiotic rush to judgement before reading the facts.
Romney was among those that initially riled-up the minuscule mindset that persists on looking for a conspiracy within an unfortunate American tragedy. People died, Teapublican assholes lied, and to this day…they continue to dishonor those lost lives that were trying to make a better place, not only for our nation, but for the world. Thanks Mitt!~Daryl
