The fact, that in 2014, we are still bearing witness to this hateful nonsense is unconscionable, and it literally makes me sick to my stomach. Cenk Uygur’s commentary in the link above regarding this subject is brilliantly accurate.
Last year, Cheerios put out a commercial that depicted an interracial family that set-off a shitstorm of racial resentment across the social media stratosphere. Every bigoted asshole that could hide behind their racist rhetoric on Twitter weighed in with their racist viewpoints. Big Pussies, posing as grown men, and women, were appalled that their television screens FINALLY reflected the reality of today’s society-tan lines are dwindling, because many of today’s folk are already the color that most tanning salons would only hope to replicate.
On Super Bowl Sunday 2014, there will be a new version of this controversial commercial, and a recent, mostly accurate tweet from an employee of MSNBC has once again ignited a well worn-out topic of discussion.
The tweet from a now unemployed employee of MSNBC, highlighted the ‘anticipated’ disgust of the same MOSTLY reich-winged rectal lesions, that would be more than eager to spread the same hatred they represented last year. Faux News, and their loyal legion of losers, went ballistic. Suddenly, MSNBC was the network of hate and offensive rhetoric. Everyone on the left should somehow apologize for what essentially was an accurate tweet predicting outrage from those who were outraged before.
Faux News and its worshippers calling another network judgmental or racist is so insanely ridiculous-It defies normal logic. Then again, minimum logic, is the maximum mantra, that permeates throughout today’s tea drunk mentality.
The executives at MSNBC don’t owe ANYONE an explanation concerning this subject. Not Faux News, not the Republican Party, and most certainly NOT some backwoods, toothless, tobacco-chewing baboon, who has suddenly become a Constitutional scholar since “Dat dar Kenyan dun stole his rights.” Apologizing to these fools of false equivalency only strengthens their profound ignorance.
The folks at General Mills/Cheerios aren’t apologizing for once again reflecting the lives of another beautiful American ‘Modern Family’ despite the inevitable backlash of those still stuck in their caves of hatred….and sheer stupidity. Thankfully, the image of the little angel, and her parents, returns one more time…representing a beautiful rainbow that will always outshine the darkest of skies that continually threaten to surround it.~Daryl
