An “honest mistake” would be forgetting to put a requested condiment on a sandwich or just getting an order wrong-period. Maybe mispronouncing a customers name while thanking them for their patronage would also qualify. This incident, involving Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker, is nothing closely resembling an “honest mistake.” Whitaker should have went all-out, Idi Amin on this establishment. The level of calm he has exhibited is beyond commendable.
This behavior is unexplainable, unreasonable, and intolerable. If the place was so busy that it was difficult to make an accurate judgement of a “particular” customer-Why was Whitaker singled out as a potential yogurt thief? Probably the same reason that customers have previously complained about this Mafia shithole, posing as a legitmate delicatessen. Whether it’s an African-American being refused a cup of coffee, while watching a White customer ordering and served that cup, which was just refused, or other customers reporting employees using racial insults while referring to The POTUS and his family-The Milano Market represents nothing honest. Honestly, I hope this incident puts this place six feet under. Ciao Bella!!!!! ~Daryl
