Today, Trayvon Benjamin Martin, should have officially become an adult. The dawn of his 18th year on this less than perfect planet should have been a welcome sight. Instead, the actions of a self-proclaimed, neighborhood “watchman” permanently blinded young Martin’s wide-eyed, and unlimited future potential. Since when, is the penalty for purchasing Skittles and Iced Tea-Death.
George Zimmerman, has the nerve- to once again, ask for a trial delay. The suddenly defined “multi-ethnic, Hispanic” is merely postponing an inevitable invasion of his normal livelihood/manhood.
Zimmerman, will soon enough, face a judge and jury that will ultimately decide his fate. Whether or not, he becomes Big Bubba’s latest, life-long ,butt-buddy, or is allowed to walk=Zimmerman is representative of the need for certain people to NEVER be in the possession of a gun. If laws were reasonably different, perhaps Trayvon’s parents would be wishing him a Happy 18th Birthday face-to-face. Instead, on this special day, they are forced to wonder what might have been.
