The concept of post-racial politics has been widely discussed since 2008 when Barack Obama achieved what just a few years ago seemed impossible=Becoming the leader of the free world. Naively, many folks thought racism had finally been transcended in not only the political spectrum, but also in society as a whole. Four years later, hate groups are on the rise and crimes against minorities have risen as well. We have a President who has been labeled with racist vitriol that literally makes anyone with any common sense sick to their stomach. Shouts of “Muslim” “Socialist” “Communist” “Monkey” all have been names used to describe President Obama. Presidents have been called many names before, but those names were far less hateful and downright degrading.
Despite the bullshit, our President forges on doing the job that we the people elected him to do. More so than any President in recent memory, he has followed through on MANY of his campaign promises. The wars in the Middle-East are mercifully coming to an end. How many more of our brilliant and brave young men would lose their lives if the war mongering elitist bastards that worshiped the hollow nuts of Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld had their way? Where would the auto industry be right now? Osama Bin-Laden would still be sitting in his “compound” plotting murder and mayhem. There would be many students still praying for the right to attend college instead of bodies in the classroom actually learning. Healthcare would still be a dream to many in the ghetto while remaining an afterthought in the suburbs. Our image around the world has improved with a President that mirrors and relates to the “foreign” leaders that are actually people of non-white color. These “foreigners” actually represent the way that 2/3rd’s of the planets population looks like.
In America, the so called “patriots” that refuse to quit faking the funk regarding real life are still looking for their skewed version of what “OUR” country should be. They have been ravaged with insanity since Barack Obama became PRESIDENT OBAMA. This rampant mental illness has manifested itself from the feeble mind of Glen Beck to the comb-over known as “The Donald.” They look for every angle too make sure that they are not actually in the middle of a nightmare. They adorn themselves in the stars and stripes and hold rally’s to show their outrage, yet they have the nerve to call them Tea Parties. They appear on Fox(Faux) News and continue to demand proof that President Obama was born, let alone born a United States citizen. They have convinced noodleback negroes such as Allen West and Herman Cain to question the “Blackness” of President Obama while their own self images of being black are questions in their own Uncle Tom mindsets. In short, they keep race at the forefront of everything they do, yet they deny racism as their motivation.
Our country, as it stands, has a long road to becoming anything remotely resembling the term “post-racial.” Everyday, a new form of racially charged rhetoric is spewed forth out of the mouths of those who refuse to face facts. These facts point to a world that is becoming increasingly diverse. The days of white folks openly disrespecting black people and other people of color are slowly coming to an end, and many of them simply refuse to accept this as reality. When we live in a world where a degenerate, racist like George Zimmerman can kill a young unarmed black youth simply because he looked “suspicious…”We are not post-racial. When the governor of one of our union’s most racist states can point her wrinkled assed finger directly into the face of our President…We are not post-racial. When people will go nuts supporting causes a world away, but they are silent regarding the death of Trayvon Martin….WE ARE FAR FROM BEING POST-RACIAL!!!!!! Post-Racial Society=GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!!!
