Bradley Manning& Edward Snowden are nothing more than self-serving, treasonous scum buckets. Their lack of loyalty to our nation is only exceeded by their alarming over-abundance of stupidity and spread of, in my opinion,no where new information.
Snowden must be nearly brain dead. He gave up an ultimately undeserved $200K+ gig to inform us that our e-mails, cell phone conversations etc. were under suspicious surveillance. Gee, what a riveting revelation! Manning is nothing beyond being a first class, not so private moron, that leaked sensitive military information from both the Bush&Obama administrations. Are we, as a nation really naive enough to believe that our military ALWAYS wins wars with above the board conduct?-Of course not. All is not fair in love, and most certainly not war. These unpatriotic assholes betrayed the trust of their primary employer(The United States Of America a.k.a. “We the People”). It doesn’t matter about the reason. It most certainly isn’t based on any season. The only definition that matters=TREASON.
At some point, our nations rightfully proud citizens need to realize=As individuals, we might want to know everything, but in most cases, it’s just not that simple, let alone possible. We trust our military to defend our freedom, and our political leaders to lead, because we elect, and select, most of them based on their credentials. How does a Skoal tobacco chewing, trailer park, road-kill scholar pretend to have a better solution when it comes to upholding OUR national security? The sheer arrogance of a below average shit-kicker thinking the government wants to listen in on his or her barely literate dribble is unfounded unless he or she is plotting attacks on the country they proclaim to love so much.
Criminals like Manning and Snowden chose their fate, not because they cared about you or me-They simply saw a path to put themselves in the inspired spotlight influenced by the likes of Daniel Ellsberg’s treasonous “Pentagon Papers“- trusted insiders betraying and compromising the lives of fellow American’s for their own self promotion. This bullshit would have been considered “criminal” under Bush, but is now “acceptable” and “heroic” while occurring during President Obama’s tenure. Nonsense, we can’t have it both ways.
People need too realize that freedom doesn’t come free. We aren’t running around a fucking grass filled prairie with an antiquated musket looking for our daily food supply while fending off The British. We are in the day and age where it is imperative that we take the fight to our enemies both domestic and foreign by using modern day technology and weapons. Cat calls, bells and whistles don’t apply anymore as methods of acceptable communication in battling our enemies. Covert operations in conjunction with technology require cooperation and SILENCE from those we trust to protect us. Manning&Snowden took it upon themselves to violate that trust by leaking sensitive, classified information to those who can now use it against ALL of us. These two losers aren’t just merely whistleblowers-They are conflicted criminals that deserve prison sentences for treason.~Daryl
