Reagan’s Real Legacy | The Nation.

This piece correctly identifies Ronald Reagan and his bullshit presidency. This walking caricature, and his eight years in office, did more damage to this country than any other President in recent history. It’s crazy that “rationale” members on the right continue to praise this fake assed wannabe champion of good old American values. This asshole, did more to grow a version of government that benefitted the wealthy and destroyed the middle class in ways that his worshippers still admire today. The Republican party incorrectly uses this miscreant as a barometer for their mantra in 2011/2012. Reagan talked about government being the problem, yet he actually increased its influence. He taxed the shit out of people and actually tripled the budget deficit before riding his old ass off into his “cowboy” sunset. He increased the divide between rich and poor, as well as black and white. I remember being at The Ohio State University and being accused of only being there because of affirmative action. The backwoods peckerwood, that made the statement, didn’t take into account that my parents worked their asses off to send me to college. He also hated the fact that I went to private school and had better ACT results than his dumbass. He hung up Reagan posters and banners as well as The Confederate flag, yet he was too fucking stupid to last beyond 2 quarters of college. Face it Reagan Lovers, this President was hardly “great” at anything, but  talking out of  both sides of his wrinkled neck.
